AU-16 is non silicon water based defoamer which offers superior deaeration, drainage and cost effectiveness over many conventional water based defoamers. The fluid nature of AU-16  permits application by conventional methods or by spraying onto the wire.

APPLICATION METHODE AND RATES

AU-16 can be applied neat or as 1-2% dilution in water. AU-16  is readily diluted by water and normally in affected by water hardness. AU-16  results in cleaner defoamer make down system and reduce deposit. It is also an excellent effluent defoamer.

PACKAGING, STORAGE AND HANDLING

AU-16  is shipped in 30 kg jerican or 200 kg lined open head drums. Since low temperature will cause this defoamer to freeze, storage in a warm place (>100C) is recommended. If freezing occurs, allow to warm to room temperature and mix well before using.

AU-16  isreadily pump able and is shear stable. Any positive displacement pump should be adequate for use with AU-16 .

Because AU-16  contains a significant volume of water, storage and transfer equipment should be adequately corrosion resistant.
