Application and characteristics:
I) Application:
1) As a formulation of selected zinc salts, AU-73A and AU-73LM are very effective activators for the sulfur vulcanization of diene rubber, especially natural rubber.
2) They can partly or totally replace conventional activators based on fatty acids, e.g., stearic acid, zinc stearate, and zinc 2-ethylhexanoate.
3) They can be used as an effective physical physical peptizer for the mastication of natural rubber.It improves processability in mixing, extrusion and molding.
4) AU-73LM is designed for low shear and low temperature mixes.
lI)The following improvements are achievable by application of AU-73A and AU-73LM
1) prolonged reversion time
