Properties:
White needle like crystal, its melting point is 124-125oC, its density is 1.32-1.38g/cm2,soluble in benzene, carbon tetrachloride, soluble in acetone, gasoline, hardly soluble in grain alcohol, aether, insoluble in water.
Application:
Mainly used as vulcanizing agent in natureal glue rubber polymers, has good performances. It can be used with thiram, thiazoles accelerator, can boost the vulcanization rate. Its recommended dosage is 2-4% when used as vulcanizing agent, its recommended dosage is 0.5-2% when used as accelerator.
